Measure around the fullest part of your bust, your natural waist and the fullest part of your hips. Keep the tape level and comfortably close to your body. For outerwear, also compare shoulder width, sleeve length and total garment length with a similar jacket that fits you well. Consider the layers you intend to wear underneath.

Wear the trim as shown for a fuller neckline detail, or remove it for a simpler appearance. Compare overall length with a coat you already own.
